Our Standard Carrier Network (SCN) is included on all plans and shipments count towards your plan's allotted shipment capacity. Our Extended Carrier Network (ECN) is an optional add-on that enables a wider array of carriers.
Merchants that have signed up on our Lite or Starter plans as of December 2024 have the ECN included free of charge in their plan and do not need to opt-in. Merchants that have signed up to a Starter plan prior to December 2024 or have signed up to any Growth plan, will need to opt-in to the ECN and accept the add-on charges. ECN shipments are billed at a flat rate per shipment, as an add-on to your current monthly service fee. In June 2024, Malomo significantly expanded our supported carrier list with the launch of our Extended Carrier Network (ECN). Along with adding the opportunity to support 1000+ new carriers, such as small regional and international carriers, the ECN will also remove the need for credentials for major carriers.
